(1) The Government of Nepal or the State Government itself may map an area or place and conduct an environmental study of that area.
(2) On the basis of the details obtained from the study as per sub-section (1), the related body shall prepare the details related to the development works or projects that can be conducted in such area in the future and the activities that are not suitable to be conducted in such area.
(3) The details obtained from the study as per sub-section (1) and the details as per sub-section (2) shall be recorded by the relevant body.
(4) Details according to this section shall be made public by the concerned body and when submitting or implementing any proposal, the concerned proposer, body and interested party shall act accordingly.
